Who we are
DevOpsPlant Pty Ltd is an Australian AWS and DevOps consultancy based in Sydney. We help startups and growing companies build, secure, automate and optimise their cloud infrastructure, mostly on AWS, and on Azure where a client’s systems already run there.
What we do
We work on one problem at a time:
- Offshore compliance: offshore staff work on desktops hosted in Australia, so the data never leaves.
- Faster deployments: automated, tested releases your team can take back in one step.
- Lower cloud costs: a smaller AWS or Azure bill, with every cost owned by someone.
- AI governance: AI-written code has to pass the same checks as everyone else’s before it reaches production.
We also help with AWS infrastructure, Terraform, AWS security and PCI DSS readiness.
Who we work with
Companies whose cloud setup was built quickly to get a product live, and now needs to be run properly. Usually that means one or more of these:
- Deployments depend on one person or on manual steps.
- Infrastructure was built in the console, and nobody is sure what is running.
- The cloud bill is growing and hard to explain.
- A client, investor or auditor is asking security questions.
- The team needs senior DevOps experience, without hiring permanently yet.
How we work
- Start small. A short, fixed-scope review of the one problem that costs you most, with a written plan and a price.
- Build in your accounts. Everything is built in your own AWS or Azure accounts, as code your team can review.
- Hand over. Documentation and runbooks for your team, with ongoing support only if you want it.
- Talk to the engineer. The person on the discovery call is the engineer who would do the work.
